On April 28, 2020 WIPO's Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances entered into force. 

The Treaty, about intellectual property rights of actors and audiovisual performers, aims to make it easier for television and film actors, musicians, dancers, choreographers, and others in audiovisual performances to make a living from their work.
