Regional Patent Information Product of CIS Countries CISPATENT
A joint regional patent information product on CD-ROM CISPATENT has been issued since 2002.
The project’s technical executor and coordinator is Rospatent.
The product is issued with the participation of the following offices: Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO).
CISPATENT CD-ROM comprises:

CISPATENT CD-ROM comprises:
- bibliographic data in the original language, Russian and English;
- abstract in the original language, Russian and English;
- full specification of the invention in the original language with basic and additional drawings;
- claims in the original language.
The disc is issued once a month. The time lag between the date of publication of the Official Bulletin and the issue of the disc is 2 months.
Every disc issue comprises patents of the states party in the project, submitted a month before the production thereof, and is complete with MIMOSA retrieval software.
The ratio of the amount of documents published on the CD-ROM CISPATENT in 2007 was: the Russian Federation – 60%, Ukraine – 28%, other countries – 12%. Most documents on the disc are represented in text format.
