Dear colleagues, applicants, representatives of professional communities in the field of intellectual property (IP) and the public,
We would like to inform you that during this extremely difficult time for the country, during the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which became the reason for the imposition of martial law in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 №64/2022 "On the Imposition of Martial Law in Ukraine", the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Institute of Intellectual Property" (Ukrpatent) continues to operate on a full-time basis providing all the necessary functions and continuous operation of the state system of legal protection of intellectual property.
Main divisions of the enterprise carry out the reception and processing of applications for intellectual property ensuring the availability of relevant information resources and state registers. Our employees make significant efforts for securing the stability in operation of the enterprise.
We condemn the aggression of the Russian Federation against our country and as the Armed Forces of Ukraine defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, Ukrpatent, for its part, does everything to protect the country in the field of intellectual property being a competitive institution for the world.
We are grateful to the World Intellectual Property Organization, European Patent Office, EU Intellectual Property Office, all the patent offices of the world as well as people who are not indifferent and express support for our country, in particular, for Ukrpatent, confirming the high level of trust and partnership with the state enterprise and its staff.
We believe in a bright, free and peaceful future of our Ukraine.
