On August 16, 2020, the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning Strengthening the Protection and Enforcement of Rights to Trademarks and Industrial Designs and Combating Patent Abuse” entered into force, amending the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Rights to Marks for Goods and Services ".

In order to inform foreign users about the conditions for granting legal protection to trademarks in Ukraine and the latest amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Rights to Marks for Goods and Services" the text of the said law in English (non-official translation) is made available for consultation at https://ukrpatent.org/en/articles/legislation-and-standards.
